Breathwork
Under fatigue your breathing gets fast and shallow, and your decisions follow. A trained breath keeps your head clear when your legs are gone.
New this week: Researchers in Mannheim scanned 30 experienced practitioners during intense, fast breathwork and saw blood flow in the brain drop by about 45 percent, while most reported strong altered states. It is a small, early study presented at the ECNP Congress in Munich, so take it as a reminder that hard breathing is a powerful tool to use with respect, not as the final word. Read the report →
Try this: the morning activation clip, every morning for one week, before you add anything else.
Read this: Breath, by James Nestor. Ten pages a day.
